Gardening Fun for all the family

Join us at our Forest School Growing Space.

Weeding, sowing, potting on, watering, grafting, labelling, painting, harvesting, wildflower meadow-making and all kinds of forest school site buzzy-business. It's that time of year again when our vegetable growing is in full swing! We invite you to join us for some green-fingered family-friendly fun. Bring your little ones- they will love getting stuck in, bug hunting and pottering around whilst us adults get stuck in.

Suitable for all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Home-educated, flexi-school and pupil-supported learning children aged 12+ are welcome to attend independently.

Enjoy a warm cuppa and refreshments.

All equipment provided but you may want to bring your own gloves.

WE WELCOME DONATIONS OF:

  • Gardening gloves

  • Trowels and other gardening tools & equipment

  • Seeds & bulbs

  • Jute string, bamboo canes and other gardening equipment

🌻 Meet Katie – Holding space for this lovely group 🌻

Katie trained in Permaculture Design in 2004 and has spent years working as a community gardener and environmental educator. She loves helping people of all ages connect with nature and learn to grow food. She loves bringing people together with some tasty grub, music and good stories around the campfire and believes the true heroes of any group are the tea makers and washer-uppers!
Katie lives with her wife and 13-year-old son, and also supports our Saturday Mighty Oaks and Monday Little Acorns groups.
