We work with you and truly get to know your needs and each learner that we support. We are experienced with working with challenging behaviours and additional support needs. Our core value is to ensure inclusion for all and as such we always strive to go that extra mile.

Our instructors are the best out there and with over 7 years of experience as a company working with schools locally we have developed exceptional programme delivery.

Our bespoke programmes range from one-off days, half or full days, multi-week, twilight sessions or overnight camps. We have something for all budgets and requirements!

Delivered at a venue of your choice!

Whilst the majority of our adventures take place at our awesome purpose-built forest school site based at Auchincruive by Ayr we can also provide our services:

  • at local green spaces such as council parks and school playing fields

  • inside- such as in your school or a hired hall!

  • as part of festivals or wider events

This is because we are super experienced at what we do and design all our learning programmes to be adaptable to various venues and weather potential.

Traditional Crafts & Skills.

Traditional nature-based skills and crafts such as weaving, whittling, pottery, den building and fire lighting plays a key part in our adventurous sessions. Reconnecting children with the great outdoors and natural heritage. Helping children to build confidence in more ‘risk-based’ activities and feeling empowered and worthwhile citizens in an otherwise busy screen-dominated world.

CPD Training.

We deliver regular CPD training for educators either at our Auchincruive base, public green spaces, or within school’s own campus. As well as our own training programmes we also tailor training to suit the individual needs of your school, group and staff. Just get in touch for further details.

I highly recommend Little Acorns to anyone who is looking for a magical, nurturing and respectful group for children. My school has been working with this great team for a while now, beautiful storytelling and activities that will give children the best start in life. Thank you Little Acorns for all the lovely memories you haven given our students!
