SANTA’S WOODLAND GROTTO 2026

12th & 13th December

Give your children a grotto experience to remember at our cosy Winter Woodland at Acorns HQ. Your family will be welcomed by Santa's elves with stories, poems, a craft table, Santa will then welcome you in his Grotto by the roaring fire (within our cosy yurt) and your child/ren will receive a special gift with a personalised message tailored to your child.

You and your family can then enjoy mulled juice/wine, mince pies and toasted Christmas S'mores on the campfire. There will be a craft table, carol singing and a 'spot the elves' game before heading home through our Winterland woods.

Please select your preferred time and date from the times available. The time slot indicates when your Santa visit will be between, but your time on site will be around 30-40 mins in total. Santa has selected a range of toys, suitable for different ages and suitable for all genders.

For many local families our Woodland Grotto has become a lovely family tradition. Last year we took a wee break and we have been told how missed it was! This event has sold out 4 years each year so early booking is advised.

We truly value your support, all funds raised goes into maintenance and running of Acorn Adventures, a not-for-profit social enterprise, so we can offer more local families wonderful nurture through nature experiences!

"We so enjoyed the grotto, everything you had organised was so well thought out. When I was telling others about it they all said how amazing it sounded and how it beats waiting in a line in a garden centre to see a Santa!!" Parent, Little Acorns Grotto

This event is held outside, partly under canvas with the Grotto in a beautiful yurt. Please dress for the weather. The terrain is uneven and not suitable for wheelchairs. Off road buggies or babies in sling is recommended.

Tickets are non refundable and non-transferable.
